Overview

The Vice President of Operations will oversee the organization’s day-to-day operations, strategic execution, and resource optimization while driving Globe’s integration into Hard Rock’s ecosystem. Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership

  • Oversee and manage the Company’s daily operations, ensuring alignment with Globe’s strategic goals and Hard Rock International’s standards.
  • Translate the Company’s strategic vision into well-defined, actionable plans and ensure they are effectively communicated and executed across all teams.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and reduce operational overhead.
  • Oversee allocation of human capital, technology, facilities, and equipment to maximize efficiency and profitability.
  • Build and retain a high-performing, cross-functional team aligned with Globe’s operational objectives and Hard Rock International’s policies.
  • Motivate, coach, and lead team members—including the Executive Team—to deliver on performance expectations and strategic objectives.

Financial Management & Business Performance

  • Partner with the Head of Globe Entertainment and the Board to manage financial performance, including AR/AP, cost analysis, budget forecasting, and variance reporting.
  • Prepare detailed forecasts, updates, and KPI dashboards for executive leadership and Board review.
  • Identify and implement operational strategies to improve profitability and support sustainable growth.
  • Participate directly in licensing, sales, fulfillment, and revenue optimization activities to accelerate new income streams.

Licensing, Sales & Fulfillment Oversight

  • Manage Globe’s licensing operations, e-commerce fulfillment, and collectible product pipelines.
  • Oversee warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory, and archival logistics.
  • Drive copyright, IP management, and rights-clearance processes to support licensing opportunities.
  • Supervise customer service, vendor coordination, and partner relationships to ensure smooth operations.

Compliance, Risk & Governance

  • Ensure Globe’s operations comply with federal, state, and local laws, including Nevada corporate regulatory obligations.
  • Serve as the State of Nevada Resident Agent and primary point of contact for legal and compliance matters.
  • Develop and enforce policies that mitigate legal, financial, and reputational risks.
  • Foster a culture of integrity and ethical conduct across all operations.

External Relations & Partnerships

  • Manage strategic relationships with partners, vendors, photographers, and licensing clients to unlock growth opportunities.
  • Represent Globe in external communications and negotiations, maintaining and enhancing the Company’s brand reputation within the collectibles, media, and entertainment industries.

Key Operational Domains

  • Financial Management: AR/AP, budget forecasting, cost analysis, KPI tracking.
  • Licensing & E-Commerce: Revenue enablement, copyright/IP management, product pipeline oversight.
  • Warehouse & Archive Operations: Shipping, receiving, inventory control, and archival preservation.
  • Human Resources: Team leadership, training, retention, performance optimization.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Federal, state, and IP law adherence; acts as Nevada Resident Agent.
  • Vendor & Partner Relations: Contract negotiation, vendor oversight, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Customer Experience: Licensing fulfillment, collectibles delivery, and service quality control.


Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of senior leadership experience in media, entertainment, collectibles, or licensing industries.
  • Proven success managing complex operational ecosystems, including archive facilities, licensing programs, and multi-channel product distribution.
  • Expertise in budgeting, financial forecasting, and KPI-driven decision-making.
  • Strong knowledge of copyright, IP licensing, and rights management.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive organizational transformation.

Preferred

  • Experience managing operational integration following mergers or acquisitions.
  • Familiarity with digital asset management systems, e-commerce platforms, and collectibles fulfillment.
  • A passion for music, entertainment, sports, and pop culture aligned with Hard Rock’s global DNA.

  • On-time completion of archive relocation and digital asset integration within budget.
  • Year-over-year growth in licensing, e-commerce, and collectible revenues.
  • Improved operational efficiency metrics (reduced costs, increased throughput, optimized resource allocation).

  • Compliance with regulatory, IP, and corporate governance standards.
