Location: Burbank, California

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Schedule

• Day Shift
• Weekend coverage required for the first 8 weeks of the assignment
• Opportunity for block scheduling if able to commit to weekend requirements
• No on-call requirement

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Echocardiography experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Local candidates accepted
• Active credentials required at time of submission

• ARDMS
• CCI

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Echo Technologist to perform comprehensive cardiac ultrasound examinations in an acute care hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent patient care abilities, and experience producing high-quality echocardiographic studies for cardiologist interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Perform transthoracic echocardiograms according to departmental protocols
• Obtain diagnostic-quality cardiac ultrasound images
• Evaluate cardiac anatomy, function, and hemodynamics
• Prepare patients and explain examination procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
• Collaborate with cardiologists and healthcare teams to support patient care
• Ensure compliance with quality assurance, infection prevention, and safety standards
• Operate and maintain echocardiography equipment effectively
