Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position offers the opportunity to support middle school students in grades 5 through 8 throughout the 24-25 school year. The role is based in a school setting in Brockton, MA, and involves managing a caseload of approximately 15-20 students. This contract position focuses on providing speech and language support to enhance students' communication skills, helping them succeed academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in delivering speech-language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed speech-language pathologist
- Implement individualized treatment plans tailored to middle school students needs
- Monitor and document student progress regularly
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support each students development
- Maintain compliance with school policies and state regulations related to speech-language services

- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
