We are seeking an Employment Services Supervisor to become a part of the team! You will be responsible for the daily operations of the Employment Services program, including Community-Based Pre-Voc, Supported Employment, and Acces-VR..
Responsibilities:
- Lead daily operations for Pre-Voc, ACCES-VR, and SEMP in alignment with OPWDD, ACCES-VR, and JHS standards.
- Supervise, coach, and evaluate Job Coaches/DSPs; manage schedules and coverage.
- Develop and monitor staff action plan; track outcomes and adjust plans.
- Coordinate with ACCES-VR counselors on assessments, training, and referrals.
- Support transitions from Pre-Voc to SEMP; monitor job readiness, placement, and retention
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliant billing (Medicaid/ACCES-VR)
- Partner with businesses and community programs to expand employment opportunities
- Uphold safety, incident management, and participant rights; participate in QA/IRC/HRC as needed
- Produce monthly/quarterly reports on outcomes, staffing, and compliance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human services, Social Work, Psychology, Education, or a related field (master’s preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in OPWDD-funded services, with at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of Pre-Vocational and Employment Services, job readiness, and workplace skill development.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise staff, manage schedules, and handle program operations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle crises, resolve conflicts, and ensure participant rights and dignity.
- Proficiency in documentation, service notes, and Medicaid billing compliance.
- Valid NYS driver’s license preferred, local travel required
