Telehealth Staff Psychiatrist – County Jail Inpatients

About the Role:
SetLine Health is seeking a dedicated Telehealth Staff Psychiatrist to provide psychiatric care to adult inpatients at a county jail facility. This position offers the opportunity to deliver meaningful mental health services to both male and female populations through secure telehealth platforms, helping meet the needs of an underserved community.
Schedule Options:
- 4x10-hour shifts OR 5x8-hour shifts
- Daytime schedule (no nights)
- 100% telehealth or hybrid models considered

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment planning remotely
- Provide medication management and ongoing care via secure telehealth systems
- Collaborate virtually with the onsite multidisciplinary healthcare team, including nursing, medical, and correctional staff
- Document treatment plans, progress notes, and ensure compliance with facility and regulatory standards
- Participate in telehealth case reviews and provide consultation as needed
Qualifications:
- MD or DO with Board Certification/Eligibility in Psychiatry
- Active and unrestricted medical license in California
- Strong communication skills and comfort with telehealth platforms
- Corrections experience preferred but not required – telehealth training and support provided
