We are currently seeking a responsible and compassionate Direct Care Worker to provide in-home care for an individual in Bradford.
Position Details:
- Part-time 24.50 hours a week
- Pay Rate $13.00
- Schedule flexible daylight hours
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing and personal hygiene
- Assist with toileting needs
- Assist with safe transfers and mobility support (client does use walker)
- Perform light housekeeping duties
- Provide supervision, companionship, and support to promote independence and safety and to remain in their home.
Qualifications:
- 18 years of Age
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to obtain and maintain required background clearances
- Dependable, patient, and compassionate demeanor
- Prior caregiving or direct care experience preferred, but not required
New Employees may be eligible for a $300 training stipend provided through PA Homecare Association, of which MedStaffers is a proud member. New employees must complete required training modules and 40 hours of work to qualify.
