Finance Specialist (Full-Time)

Were seeking aFinance Specialistto join our mission-driven team. This position's primary focus is to support our clients in successfully making the payments they have agreed to. This role also manages a variety of financial, administrative, and operational tasks. Youll play a key role in client billing, payments, collections, payroll coordination, and financial reportingwhile collaborating across departments to improve processes and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Onboard new clients and ensure accurate financial setup
- Process and record client payments
- Monitor failed payments and follow up with clients for resolution
- Escalate non-payment and collections cases appropriately
- Collaborate with other departments to improve financial workflows
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable
- Maintain financial records and draft reports for leadership
- Support payroll coordination and submission
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Skills & Abilities
- Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to persuade with compassion
- Comfortable managing high volumes of client communication (phone/text)
- Strong problem-solving and task prioritization skills
- Professional and ethical in client and team interactions
- Impeccable attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Quick to learn and adapt to new software tools
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 2 years of clerical or customer service experience required
- Prior experience in finance, billing, or collections preferred
- Spanish fluency preferred
