Job Title: General Laborer – Concrete Production
Job Description
This role supports large-scale concrete production by preparing forms and rebar, pouring and finishing concrete, and handling materials throughout the production yard. You will work with a variety of hand, power, and pneumatic tools, perform visual inspections before and after curing, and assist with leading small work groups or areas as needed. The position is physically demanding and requires consistent heavy lifting and outdoor work in all weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Set up concrete forms and rebar for large concrete slabs according to specifications and measurements.
- Pour concrete into prepared forms in a safe and controlled manner.
- Perform visual inspections of products before and after the curing process to ensure quality and consistency.
- Use a variety of hand, power, and pneumatic tools to complete daily tasks in the production yard.
- Measure materials and layouts accurately using tape measures and other basic measuring tools.
- Load and unload products and materials to and from different stations around the production yard.
- Lift and move products weighing up to 70 pounds as needed throughout the shift.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including cleaning tools and equipment after use.
- Support production operations by performing general labor tasks as assigned.
- Lead small groups or specific areas of the production yard as needed, ensuring tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
Essential Skills
- At least 1 year of construction or concrete experience.
- Experience working in general labor or construction environments.
- Hands-on experience with concrete work, including forming, pouring, or finishing.
- Proficiency using hand tools such as hammers, wrenches, and basic carpentry tools.
- Proficiency using power tools and pneumatic tools in a safe manner.
- Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting up to 70 pounds on a regular basis.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and all seasons.
- Strong attention to detail for visual inspection of products before and after curing.
- Reliability and willingness to perform physically demanding tasks throughout the shift.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in production or manufacturing environments.
- Experience with carpentry or formwork for concrete.
- Familiarity with cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment.
- Comfort leading small groups or specific work areas when needed.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and follow-through in a fast-paced yard environment.

Work Environment
This is an outdoor production-yard role where all work takes place outside in all seasons, rain or shine. You will work around large concrete slabs, forms, and production equipment, using hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and measuring devices such as tape measures. The environment is physically demanding, involving frequent heavy lifting and continuous movement around different stations in the yard. Team members must dress appropriately for varying weather conditions and be comfortable working in an active, industrial outdoor setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Billings, MT.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
