A full-time School Psychologist position is available at a K-12 school located in Sedro Woolley, WA. This contract role runs from February through June and requires onsite presence. The role involves supporting one elementary school and part of a high school, serving approximately 800 students, with about 18% qualifying for special education services. The schedule is flexible, accommodating up to 35 hours per week, with variations based on IEP meetings and school day differences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to support special education eligibility.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Provide counseling and intervention services tailored to student needs.
• Participate actively in meetings and contribute to planning student support strategies.
• Monitor ongoing progress and adjustment of educational plans.

Qualifications:

• Valid School Psychologist license for the state of Washington.
• Experience working with K-12 students, preferably within public school settings.
• Strong understanding of special education laws and psychological assessment tools.
• Ability to manage a caseload effectively and maintain excellent communication with all stakeholders.
