Qualifications:
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Experience working with middle school-aged children
- Strong assessment, consultation, and intervention skills
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and interpret assessment results
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, contributing to team-based planning for student success
- Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support for students
- Develop and implement evidence-based interventions tailored to diverse learner needs
- Support staff and parents through consultation, training, and recommendations
- Maintain detailed and confidential records and reports as required by district and state guidelines
- Foster a safe, inclusive learning environment by promoting social-emotional wellness
