A K-12 school in Winchester, VA is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide contract services for the upcoming school year. This role involves delivg speech therapy to a diverse student population across grades K through 12, supporting their communication and language development needs.
Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- State licensure or certification as a School Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working within a K-12 educational setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Location:
- Winchester, VA
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
- Participate in team meetings and IEP planning as required
