Position Summary
The Communications Analyst shall support the development, maintenance, review, and periodic refreshment of the Program Accountability and Risk Management (PARM) division documentation. The analyst will perform technical reviews of executive-level documentation to ensure consistency with Department directives, format, grammar, syntax, audience, and style.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform the development of new documentation or review and recommend edits of existing draft documentation, including, but not limited to:
- Templates
- Training and other informational materials
- Diagrams, charts, tables, lists, and other graphics
- Briefing materials
- Directives, instructions, standard operating procedures, guidebooks, and other reference material
- Reports, white papers, and similar documents
- Memoranda and other executive correspondence
Experience & Qualifications
- BS/BA degree in a related field (or equivalent).
- Approximately 4+ years in communications or related experience, preferably with a government entity.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, graphic programs, and other platforms.
- Strong organization and detail-oriented skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including editing skills.
- Ability to exercise independent judgement with a high level of analytical skill.
