Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position with BLS certification and every other weekend shift requirement.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in the Surgery department within an operating room setting
- Day shift position with 8-hour shifts
- Every other weekend work is required
- Floating to other units within skillset as needed
- No on-call responsibilities
- Responsibilities include circulating and assisting in surgical procedures as part of a multidisciplinary surgical team
- Team structure includes collaboration with other RNs, surgical techs, and medical staff
- Completion of mandatory compliance training required within 90 days of hiring and annually thereafter
- First time travelers will be considered for this position
- Dress code to align with standard OR scrub requirements

- Active SD or compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification required
- Previous OR nursing experience preferred
- COVID and Flu vaccinations required, with medical or religious exemptions accepted
