Job DescriptionPosition: Accountant – Accounts Payable Location: Downtown Portland, OR Job Type: Full Time, Fully Onsite, Direct Hire Compensation: $70,000 - $75,000/year DOE Responsibilities:

  • Manage high-volume, complex accounts payable processes from invoice receipt through payment
  • Ensure accurate data entry and timely processing of vendor invoices, expense reports, and payment runs
  • Reconcile AP accounts and resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal teams promptly
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to support month-end close activities and audit readiness
  • Assist with maintaining vendor records and handling vendor inquiries professionally
  • Support process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the AP function
  • Other accounting duties as assigned to help grow within the finance team

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in accounts payable and general ledger accounting, preferably in a high-volume or complex environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred, or nearing completion of degree
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Proficient with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
