Bachelor’s degree in Education, valid state Teaching license or certification, and 1+ years Teaching experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a dedicated 4th Grade Elementary Education Teacher to provide quality instruction and support to students in an engaging classroom setting. This full-time, onsite position is based in a well-respected elementary school in Bennettsville, SC, for the entire academic school year under a contract arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans in accordance with state standards and curriculum guidelines
- Deliver effective instruction in all core subjects to 4th-grade students
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning
- Assess student progress regularly and adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support student success
- Maintain classroom discipline and manage student behavior appropriately
- Participate in school events and professional development activities as required
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid SCDE Teaching License in Elementary Education is mandatory
- Proven experience teaching general education in an elementary school setting, preferably with 4th-grade students
- Strong munication and classroom management skills
- Ability to design engaging and differentiated instructional activities
