Responsibilities
Meet one-on-one with patients to design personalized nutrition plans that support their specific metabolic needs.
Review health markers and progress regularly to adjust dietary recommendations as patients reach their milestones.
Lead group sessions or educational workshops to share insights on sustainable living and balanced nutrition.
Collaborate with our clinic physicians and medical staff to ensure a comprehensive, well-rounded approach to patient care.
Provide ongoing encouragement and evidence-based advice to help patients feel empowered and motivated.
Maintain accurate, detailed notes on patient progress to ensure consistency and safety across all care plans.
Requirements
Registered Dietitian (RD) credential in good standing with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
Current Michigan licensure or eligibility to obtain one.
Previous experience in weight management or clinical nutrition.
Ability to empathize with patients navigating complex health journeys.
Strong organizational skills for managing diverse patient files.
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus.
