Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity offers skilled intensive care nursing in a dynamic hospital environment focused on critical care excellence. Located in Mililani, HI, the position demands a dedicated RN with substantial ICU experience and certifications to provide exceptional care in a Level I Trauma Center setting.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred
- Active, unencumbered Hawaii RN license required
- Current BLS/HCP, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications mandatory
- CPI (or equivalent) certification preferred
- Specialty certifications like CCRN highly desired
- Must pass EKG exam with 80% or higher during orientation
- Minimum of two years full-time staff RN experience in a Medical ICU at a Level I Trauma Center
- CRRT experience is highly advantageous
- Prior travel nursing experience within the same health system preferred
- Compliance documentation must be completed at least 10 days before contract start
Responsibilities:
- Provide critical care nursing in the Medical ICU, stepping into Stepdown and Telemetry units as needed
- Utilize EPIC EMR system for efficient patient charting and care coordination
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism and adhere to safety protocols
Schedule:
- Rotating shifts, 36 hours per week
This is a contract position for a 16-week duration beginning in early March. Requested time off will not be permitted during the initial period, ensuring continuity of care.
