Job Details

  • Shift: Part-time (35 hours/week), 4 days a week with variable days off
  • Location: Lutheran Medical Center Radiation Oncology, Golden, CO

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Radiation Therapist, you will:

  • Interpret and implement treatment plans, delivering and charting all simulation and treatment summaries.
  • Perform simulation procedures and prepare immobilization devices, ensuring accurate measurements for dosimetry.
  • Conduct daily equipment warm-up and quality assurance procedures.
  • Assist in training and evaluating student therapists, if applicable.
  • Provide basic patient care, education, and monitor clinical progress.
  • Ensure timely and professional scheduling and treatment of patients.

What We’re Looking ForMinimum Qualifications

  • Radiology Tech License in the state of practice
  • Certification in Radiation Therapy from the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited institution

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to see and read information, labels, and assess patient needs.
  • Frequent verbal communication and active listening, especially in emergencies.
  • Manual dexterity for operating delicate equipment and frequent computer use.
  • Capability to lift and transfer patients, as well as carry supplies and equipment.
  • Ability to navigate busy environments and stand for extended periods.

Compensation and Benefits
