Overview of Responsibilities
Provide nursing care by establishing a nursing diagnosis, setting care objectives, defining interventions, and offering physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, families, and friends. This includes helping them understand patient conditions, medications, and self-care skills, while also monitoring changing conditions and needs, and reassessing care objectives.
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Delivering patient care by reviewing physician orders, communicating the nursing care plan, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals while providing comprehensive support to patients and their families.
- Creating nursing care plans by gathering medical histories, examining patients, documenting their physical and psychological conditions, and collaborating with family members to establish nursing diagnoses and care objectives.
- Educating patients and their families about healthcare needs, setting care goals, and providing resources and answers to their questions.
- Assessing patient care by adhering to therapeutic standards, measuring health outcomes, reviewing records, and adjusting care plans as necessary.
- Ensuring a safe and healthy patient care environment by following infection control protocols, medication administration guidelines, and legal regulations.
- Documenting patient care services accurately in patient and departmental records.
- Maintaining patient care equipment by following operational guidelines, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring supplies are stocked.
- Ensuring readiness of patient care supplies by monitoring inventory and placing orders as needed.
- Staying updated on nursing competencies as outlined by leadership.
Essential Qualifications

Required Education, Licensure/Certification, or Experience:
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Active license from the Board of Nursing in the state of practice upon hire.
Preferred Education, Licensure/Certification, or Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in a clinical setting.
