  • Location: Hyannis, MA (Cape Cod) — ZIP 02601 — Massachusetts travel nursing job\n
  • Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (April 13, 2026 – July 11, 2026)\n
  • Hours: 40 hours per week\n
  • Shift: 10-hour shifts; rotating days/evenings (7a-5:30p, 8a-6:30p, 9a-7:30p); rotating weekends & holidays\n
  • On-Call: Required for nights, weekends, and holidays in rotation\n
  • Employment Type: Travel RN (travel nursing assignment, cardiac nursing job)\n
  • Estimated Weekly Pay: $3120 - $3290 per week\n

\n\nRequired Qualifications\n

    \n
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab or acute cardiac nursing experience (cardiac catheterization lab experience preferred)\n
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing\n
  • Current RN license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts\n
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification\n
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification\n
  • Completion of Intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) course\n
  • Successful completion of pharmacology and basic arrhythmia exams prior to start date\n
  • Proficiency in IV administration, telemetry monitoring, and hemodynamic monitoring\n
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English\n
  • Use of lead apron required; on-call participation required\n

\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n

  • BSN preferred\n
  • Recent cardiovascular interventional nursing experience\n
  • CCRN or CRN certification preferred\n

\n\nKey Responsibilities\n

    \n
  • Provide safe, high-quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in the cardiac cath lab and related units\n
  • Assist with and monitor patients during cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiology procedures\n
  • Administer and monitor patient responses to medications, including peri-procedural drugs\n
  • Perform telemetry monitoring, IV therapy, and hemodynamic assessment\n
  • Maintain accurate, current patient records and document assessments throughout admission\n
  • Initiate and communicate plan of care to allied patient care providers and interdisciplinary teams\n
  • Act as a resource for staff education, orientation, and unit-based teaching; demonstrate proficiency in charge nurse duties\n
  • Use computerized nursing informatics for charting and quality documentation\n
  • Follow safety protocols, blood/body fluid policies, and hospital procedures; maintain patient confidentiality\n
  • Participate in unit staff meetings, mandatory programs, and ongoing professional development\n
  • Consistently provide service excellence to patients, families, visitors, and co-workers\n
