This opportunity seeks a licensed School Psychologist to support K-12 students in a dynamic educational environment in Birmingham, AL. The role focuses on promoting the academic, social, and emotional well-being of students through comprehensive psychological services within a network of schools. This contract position spans the 2025-2026 school year, from August 7, 2025, to May 22, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations for students referred by school personnel.
- Manage a caseload averaging 10-15 students, adjusting services according to referral needs.
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop strategies that support student success.
- Provide consultation and intervention to facilitate student well-being across academic and social domains.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with district and state regulations.
Qualifications:
- Active Alabama license as a School Psychologist is required.
- Experience working within K-12 educational settings preferred.
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
