Salary Range: $42,000 - $67,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and configure manufacturing equipment for production runs.
• Install, adjust, and calibrate tooling, dies, and fixtures.
• Perform first-piece inspections and make fine-tuning adjustments to meet specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical or process issues during setup.
• Document setup parameters, procedures, and changeover logs.
• Collaborate with production operators and engineers to optimize machine performance.
• Ensure all setups comply with safety standards and quality requirements.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in machine setup, operation, and troubleshooting within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) and various hand/power tools.
• Demonstrated ability to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on production machinery.
• Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions efficiently.
• Commitment to safety protocols and quality standards in a fast-paced production setting.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles (e.g., SMED)
• Basic PLC troubleshooting or programming knowledge
• Forklift certification
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software for interpreting technical drawings
• Advanced mechanical or electrical troubleshooting skills
