Retail Pharmacist Temp to Perm (Day Shift, 13 Weeks) Los Alamos, NM

Summary:
A retail pharmacy in Los Alamos, NM is seeking a Pharmacist for a 13-week temp to perm assignment. This is a busy pharmacy setting where you will oversee technicians, verify prescriptions, and provide patient-focused care.

Schedule:

Monday Friday, 8:30 AM 6:30 PM
Saturday, 9:00 AM 2:00 PM (rotating weekends)
Candidate must be flexible to start at either 8:30 AM or 9:30 AM

Responsibilities:

Oversee pharmacy technicians and support daily operations
Provide excellent customer service and patient counseling
Verify USP 800 non-sterile compounded prescriptions (verify only, no compounding)
Support a high-volume environment with approximately 600 prescriptions per day

Requirements:

Active and clear New Mexico pharmacist license
Experience with non-sterile compounding a plus
Background in high-volume pharmacy preferred
Open to new graduates
