Job DescriptionSalary: Range between $32 and $41 per hour, increases based on credentials and experience

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Provides Lead Physician with personalassistance and performs clinical functions in a professional, highly confidential, and sensitive manner, while maintaining efficient and timely patient flow.
  • Works with the clinical navigators across the Med Onc team to manage the clinic schedule to secure timely, equitable and patient-centered appointments.
  • Evaluates clinic schedule on a daily basis to ensure each patients visit is set up for a successful appointment, working with the Clinical Navigator Lead to correct any deficiencies.
  • Communicates with applicable Beacon staff, other medical providers, outside facilities, and patients to ensure continuity of care with all Bartels clinic patients throughout the Beacon clinic.
  • Provides direct feedback to the applicable provider and leadership team to ensure Beacon meets the mission to provide an unparalleled patient experience.
  • Performs Clinical Navigator(Medical Assistant) duties primarily for lead physician but covering other providers when needed. Clinical Navigator duties include but are not limited to:
  • Serves as a role model and clinical resource to Clinical Navigator team, promoting effective utilization of clinical resources.
  • Participates in the development and maintenance of policies and assists with training of new clinical navigators within the clinic.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Compassionate and caring bedside manner
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work extremely well in a group setting
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds


Education:

  • Idaho RN License, strongly preferred
  • CPR/BLS certification, required upon hire
  • Knowledge of medical oncology is appreciated but not required
