Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our supportive and close-knit school district for the 2024-2025 academic year. Responsibilities:
- Conducting psychological evaluations and assessments
- Writing comprehensive reports based on assessments
- Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
- Providing counseling and support to students
- Consulting with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop effective intervention strategies
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support student needs
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience in an elementary school setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
