Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position is for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a school setting located in Clovis, CA. The role is contract-based and ideal for professionals with experience in California schools and a passion for supporting student communication needs.
Key Qualifications:
- Must have at least 2 years of experience working in California school settings.
- Minimum 1 year of Special Education Information System (SEIS) experience.
- Experience supervising Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) with facilitators preferred.
- Ability to manage high caseloads and handle referrals efficiently.
- Candidates who hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology or are Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply.
- Onsite presence is required; remote work is not available.
Position Details:
- Location: School setting in Clovis, CA.
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week during the full school year.
- Caseload includes approximately 60-65 students, with 25-30 students receiving speech-only services.
- The position is expected to have SLPA support.
- One full-time opening available.
- Only SLPs and SLP Clinical Fellows will be considered; SLPAs are not eligible for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language pathology services to students, addressing a range of communication disorders.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to develop and implement individualized education programs.
- Supervise and support SLPAs and facilitators where applicable.
- Manage referrals and maintain accurate documentation within the SEIS system.
