Location: Jones Rd Facility- Santa Fe facility
Schedule: wed- Sunday (9-6pm)

Job Summary:

Bellum K9 is seeking an elite Private Trainer Instructor to join our team. This role is NOT for entry-level candidates—we are looking for a high-caliber professional with proven sales expertise, exceptional balanced dog training knowledge, and outstanding client engagement skills. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct private, high-level training sessions for clients and their dogs using balanced training techniques(reward-based & corrective methods).

  • Sell training packages and services—convert prospects into loyal clients through persuasive communication, rapport-building, and expert guidance.

  • Assess and customize training plans for dogs with behavioral issues, obedience training, or specialized needs.

  • Provide exceptional customer service while educating clients on training philosophy and handling techniques.

  • Maintain detailed records of training sessions, progress reports, and client communications.

  • Represent Bellum K9 professionally at all times, maintaining our reputation for excellence and results.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in dog training (balanced training method expertise required).

  • Proven sales skills with a track record of closing high-value deals.

  • Strong understanding of dog behavior, psychology, and advanced training techniques.

  • Confident, charismatic, and excellent at building trust with clients.

  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.

  • Weekend availability is non-negotiable.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a high-end or specialized training facility.

  • Experience working with working breeds, protection dogs, or service dogs.

  • Certifications from IACP, CPDT-KA, DOD OR LEO or equivalent (preferred, but not required).

  • Background in law enforcement, military, or security K9 training is a plus.
