FoodieLand is the leading food festival producer in the United States. Operating over 22+ events with a total attendance of over 1.6M annually. We’re looking for a detail-oriented, energetic Event Coordinator to join our team and help manage vendor relations and event logistics.
Role Description
The Event Coordinator supports the Event Manager in planning, organizing, and executing events, with a primary focus on venue coordination and logistics. This role is hands-on and detail-oriented, ensuring that event spaces are properly prepared, schedules are followed, and all venue-related elements run smoothly before, during, and after each event.
Note: This position requires domestic travel within the continental United States as part of the job. The Event Coordinator can expect to travel approximately 22 weeks per year. All work-related travel expenses are covered by the company.
- Coordinate venue logistics in collaboration with the Event Manager, including layouts, load-in/load-out schedules, timelines, and space usage
- Serve as a point of contact for venue staff to ensure alignment on event requirements and operational details
- Assist with site visits, venue walk-throughs, and pre-event planning meetings
- Develop and maintain event timelines, floor plans, and operational checklists related to venue setup
- Oversee on-site setup and breakdown to ensure spaces are executed according to plan
- Monitor event-day operations within the venue and proactively resolve logistical issues as they arise
- Ensure compliance with venue rules, safety guidelines, and local regulations
- Support post-event wrap-up, including venue inspections
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling, documentation, and internal communication related to event operations
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, event-driven environment
- Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Comfortable working flexible hours, including weekends and event days as needed
- Ability to lift, move, and assist with physical setup requirements when necessary
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, or similar tools
