About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical (E/M) Technician to join our team. Under minimal supervision, you will perform complex technical operations on production and developmental equipment for the semiconductor and related industries. This role requires advanced troubleshooting skills in electrical, software, and control systems both on the production floor and at customer sites.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build complex electrical assemblies, including panel layouts, cables, and wiring according to schematics
• Build complex mechanical assemblies using common tools (drilling, tapping, etc.) according to assembly drawings
• Perform machine startup, I/O checkout, and troubleshoot electrical, software, and control system issues
• Troubleshoot PLC, motion control, and I/O subsystems using PC-based software and measurement tools
• Collaborate with Engineering on bill of materials, drawings, schematics, software, and control system issues
Minimum Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience as an Electro-Mechanical Technician in a production environment
• Prototyping experience in a production work environment
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical CAD drawings and blueprints
Preferred Skills & Training:
• Associate degree in electronics, industrial technology, or mechanical field
• Experience writing or debugging PLC ladder logic
• Military electrician technical training
