C5T is seeking an Senior Management Analyst for a crucial role in a research effort supporting Air Force Research Laboratory and Air Mobility Command (AMC) transformation efforts. The Senior Management Analyst employs in-depth understanding of DOD, USAF, and Air Mobility Command (AMC) policy, doctrine, concepts, and processes to enable multiple complex projects within the context of the research contract they are supporting. These projects will involve collection and analysis of data in support of various policy, process, or other organizational improvement goals. Additionally, this position will play a role in facilitating the research team's internal agile management processes. The successful candidate will work with diverse project stakeholders, including senior government civilian and military personnel, contractor personnel from other companies, and other C5T personnel.

The work location is: hybrid. The successful candidate will frequently work in government workspaces, as well as from company workspaces or from home.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide air mobility operations and AMC staff experience and subject matter expertise to support team efforts to design and facilitate diverse organizational improvements in the client space.
  • Use air mobility operations and AMC staff experience, along with understanding of current doctrine, concepts, and initiatives to conduct and/or facilitate engagements with a variety of stakeholders, including senior government and military personnel.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze procedures and problems, design solutions, and facilitate implementation.
  • Conduct reviews of various policy, doctrine, and other guidance materials, extracting and/or synthesizing relevant aspects into summaries, background papers, whitepapers, or other outputs to support research team efforts.
  • Apply data collection methodologies and materials to collect research data in support of contract research objectives.
  • Apply domain expertise to assist team members with qualitative data analysis.
  • Create and present reports and analyses on team activities to inform diverse stakeholder audiences.
  • Assist with preparation and delivery of diverse customer deliverables including but not limited to reports, manuals, and presentations.
  • Works with PM to plan & conduct research team agile battle rhythm events (backlog grooming, daily scrum meetings, sprint planning, sprint reviews and retrospectives, etc.).

Qualifications:

Required:

  • In depth understanding of air mobility operations garnered through 15 or more years' experience planning and performing airlift, air refueling or global mobility support missions
  • Understanding of Air Mobility Command Headquarters structure and processes from experience working within HQ AMC staff
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Outlook, Planner, etc.)
  • Expert communication skills (verbal and written):
    • Skilled in crafting executive summaries, briefings, and technical reports.
    • Familiarity with DoD writing styles and presentation formats.
    • Ability to expertly engage in conceptual discussions regarding air mobility operations and staff concepts or processes with senior officers and civilian personnel .
    • Ability to constructively integrate air mobility operations and staff domain expertise into research efforts of the team.
  • Strong critical thinking and systems thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in writing reports for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in leading or supporting stakeholder engagement with military or government clients, including at O-6-level and above.
  • Master's degree in subject matter relevant to the research domain (e.g., psychology, organizational development, education and training, air mobility operations and planning, or similar).
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively work independently with minimal oversight.
  • Demonstrated ability to appropriately protect sensitive information and maintain a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism, especially in client-facing roles.
  • Must be able to acquire a security clearance (Secret level or higher).
  • Must be a US Citizen

Desired:

  • In-depth understanding of current staff processes and functions at AMC HQ.
  • Scrum Master experience /certification desired (e.g., SAFe, Scrum.org, etc.).
  • Experience facilitating collaborative working sessions (e.g., sprint planning, after-action reviews, or process improvement events).
  • Experience with JIRA or similar agile project management/software development tools
  • Understanding of research program requirements and processes at USTRANSCOM and Air Mobility Command.
