Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Austell, GA for a Police Officer. The Police Officer will be responsible for maintaining public safety, enforcing laws, conducting criminal investigations, and collecting and preserving evidence. Daily tasks include patrolling assigned areas, responding to emergencies, and preparing detailed reports. Police Officers will also engage with the community to foster trust and cooperation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or degrees in law enforcement or related fields are an advantage
- Must be 21 years of age upon completion of training academy
- Possession of a valid State of Georgia driver's license or ability to obtain one
- Satisfactory driving record
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Ability to work effectively with a team
- Good Moral character
- Be in good standing with Georgia Post (Lateral Officers)
