Job Overview: As Escrow Specialist, you will play a crucial role in facilitating real estate transactions by providing support to Escrow Officers and ensuring the smooth and timely completion of escrow processes. You will be responsible for handling administrative tasks, coordinating communication between various parties involved in a transaction, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review escrow documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.
- Retrieve, audit, manage, and submit all documents required for each transaction to ensure accuracy and/or compliance.
- Review and organize escrow documents to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Coordinate the receipt and disbursement of funds in accordance with escrow instructions.
- Complete Demands
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and inquiries related to escrow transactions.
- Communication and Coordination:
- Communicate updates and information to all relevant parties throughout the escrow process.
- Record Maintenance:
- Maintain and organize escrow files, ensuring that all documents are complete and accurate.
- Input and update information in the software system.
- Prepare and distribute closing packages to all relevant parties.
- Financial Transactions:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and closing demands.
- Coordinate the receipt and disbursement of funds in accordance with escrow instructions.
- Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining positive relationships with clients.
- Ensure that all parties are informed and updated on the status of the escrow process.
- Compliance:
- Assist in the adherence to company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in real estate, business administration, or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in a similar role within the real estate or title industry is preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using escrow software and other relevant office tools.
- Knowledge of real estate terminology and processes.
