Position Summary
The Inside Sales & Warehouse Support Associate plays a critical dual role in driving customer satisfaction and operational excellence. This position is responsible for managing inside sales activities—including responding to customer inquiries, preparing quotes, processing orders, and providing technical support—while also assisting with warehouse operations such as order picking, packing, receiving, and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities
Inside Sales
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customers via phone, email, and in-person.
- Provide product information, technical support, and recommendations based on customer needs in the industrial supply industry.
- Prepare accurate quotations and follow up to secure orders.
- Process sales orders in the ERP system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain strong knowledge of product offerings, pricing, and inventory levels.
- Collaborate with the outside sales team to support customer accounts and identify new opportunities.
- Assist with customer service tasks, including handling returns, warranty claims, and resolving customer issues.
Warehouse Support
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments.
- Pick, pack, and ship orders accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain organized and clean warehouse spaces.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock reconciliation.
- Operate forklifts or material handling equipment (training provided if needed).
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures in all warehouse activities.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework or technical training in a related field is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or warehouse operations; experience in the industrial supply or industrial products industry preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn technical product details.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with ERP systems a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks in a warehouse environment.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced start-up environment where flexibility is key.
