Starting Rate: $53.00/hour (based on experience)

Required Skills

Ability to perform Nuclear Medicine and PET imaging procedures using established protocols and regulatory standards

Radiopharmaceutical preparation, administration, and documentation with strong ALARA radiation safety practices

Patient interviewing, assessment, IV insertion, point-of-care testing, and post-procedure education

Screening patients for implanted devices and securing appropriate clearance for clinical/research imaging

Patient monitoring during procedures; ability to recognize distress and initiate emergency response when needed

Strong infection control and radiation safety practices to protect patients, staff, and environment

Accurate documentation in RIS, PACS, and related imaging systems

Ability to identify critical findings and communicate promptly with interpreting radiologists

Quality assurance testing and independent operation of Nuclear Medicine, PET, CT, and hot lab equipment

Commitment to productivity, workflow efficiency, and continuous quality improvement

Collaborative mindset with willingness to train/mentor students and staff

Consistent adherence to HIPAA and applicable accreditation/regulatory requirements (e.g., Joint Commission, ACR, state/federal)
