Hopkinton, MA Industrial Metal Working Distributor looking for an Inside Sales CSR to maintain an established customer base while promoting growth in conjunction with an outside sales rep. (This is not a telemarketing position)
Enjoy communicating with Customers, Vendors, and internal team members. Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills are a must.
Responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative include, but are not limited to:
- Process customer orders by quoting product prices, delivery specifications, and by offering substitute products where appropriate.
- Assisting Outside Sales Personal as they establish new business along with maintaining and growing current customer base.
- Able to identify transaction that are a priority for Outside Sales Reps and/or customers.
- Manage a defined customer base while working to establish & maintain strong customer relationships.
- Willing to assist other team members to ensure all customer’s needs are met in a timely manner.
- Assist management in customer reporting to ensure quality service is being provided while recognizing changes in customer purchasing behavior.
Qualifications of the Customer Service Representative include, but are not limited to:
- Knowledge of the industrial supply industry, CNC metalworking, abrasives, B&PT, and / or safety is a plus.
- Passion for accuracy and customer service is a requirement.
