Job DescriptionWe are seeking experienced and motivated Commercial Door Installers / Service Technicians to join our growing team. This position is essential to delivering high-quality service to our customers and supporting our continued growth. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and takes pride in craftsmanship and customer service.
Commercial door installation experience is required. Applicants without this experience will not be considered.
Pay Rate: $30 - $37 DOESchedule: 8AM - 5PM M - F
Key Responsibilities
- Install, service, and perform preventative maintenance on commercial doors, gates, and dock equipment
- Diagnose mechanical and operational issues and determine appropriate service solutions
- Safely travel to customer job sites using a company-provided vehicle and tools
- Educate customers on proper product use, care, and maintenance
- Maintain professionalism and positive customer relationships at all times
- Accurately complete service documentation and reports
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a commercial door, gate, or dock service technician
- At least 1 year of door hanging experience
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols
- Strong attention to detail and ability to quickly learn and apply new techniques
- Proficient in hand and power tools; experience operating lift equipment
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs, climb ladders, and perform repetitive bending and lifting
Work Schedule
- Expected hours: 40–45 hours per week
