MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinates the daily receiving of medications, supplies and equipment from distributors and suppliers.
- Checks all medication and supply packages for damage, tampering, and expiration dates
- Ensures the proper handling, rotation and storage of medications and supplies.
- Stock replenishment of quantities and lots through company purchase orders in absence of the Distribution Manager.
- Delivery ticket confirmation, checking for signatures, relationships, dates and required paperwork.
- Handles sharps, bio-hazardous, cytotoxic, hazardous materials and pharmaceutical waste in accordance with federal and state regulations and company policies and procedures.
- Monitors min/max shelf quantities and documents on ordering log.
- Restock picking locations daily from over stock areas
- Assembles shipping supplies.
- Assists with entering shipping data into common carriers' computer systems and tracks shipments as needed.
- Follows all safety regulations and legal documentation pertaining to warehousing.
- Performs other related duties as directed by manager.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- ood written and oral communication skills.
- General computer skills include MS Office, Windows, Outlook, and internet.
- General level of interpersonal skills to interact effectively and professionally with both internal and external customers.
- General knowledge of modern office procedures, filing, telephone techniques, and office equipment.
- Moderate level of multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain performance levels that support the mission and philosophy of the company of providing exceptional patient care services and satisfaction.
