Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
• Valid South Carolina Department of Education (SCDE) teaching license in a designated special education field (such as Learning Disabilities, Multi-categorical, or Emotional Disabilities)
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs preferred
• Strong collaborative and communication skills
• Adaptability and commitment to student success

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) based on student abilities and learning goals
• Deliver specially designed instruction that supports both academic and behavioral development
• Monitor student progress, documenting and reporting growth and challenges
• Partner with families, general education teachers, and service providers to promote holistic learning
• Maintain compliance with state and federal special education regulations
