Job Description
Position Summary:
Responsible for planning, directing, and executing capital construction projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget. Manages contractors, oversees project scope, and maintains quality, safety, and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring alignment with timelines and budgets
- Review contract scope and assess impact of changes, directives, and client requirements
- Drive change orders, including cost estimation, proposal preparation, and negotiations
- Monitor and communicate project progress, risks, and financial status to stakeholders
- Lead project meetings and coordinate with consultants, contractors, and subcontractors
- Oversee construction management, quality control, and safety compliance
- Ensure designs and specifications meet required codes and standards
- Manage subcontractors and maintain project documentation and reporting
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- 5+ years of construction/project management experience (new construction, renovations, MEP, critical environments)
- 5+ years of management experience
- 3+ years in facilities maintenance, plant operations, or engineering services
- Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, Procore, and Bluebeam
- OSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain within 120 days)
