Principal Recruitment Consultant – Quantitative Finance
Location: Hybrid – New York, NY
Compensation: $90K–$110K Base + Uncapped Commission
Employment Type: Full-Time
A high-performing specialist recruitment firm is seeking an experienced Principal Recruitment Consultant to join its growing Quantitative Finance practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven 360 recruiter looking to work within one of the highest-value markets in recruitment, supporting elite hedge funds, trading firms, and investment organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage a full 360 recruitment desk within Quantitative Finance
• Build and maintain relationships with hedge funds, proprietary trading firms, and financial institutions
• Source and place top-tier talent including Quantitative Researchers, Quantitative Traders, Quant Developers, and Risk professionals
• Drive business development and expand existing client relationships
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from client intake through offer negotiation and placement
• Headhunt passive and niche talent in highly competitive markets
Requirements:
• 2+ years of agency recruiting experience
• Proven track record of business development and successful placements
• Experience managing client relationships and recruitment processes end-to-end
• Strong sourcing, networking, and relationship-building skills
• Commercial mindset with a strong motivation to grow billings and earnings
