Position: Nutrition Services Coordinator
Program and Location: Kearney Food Bank, Kearney
The CSFP (Commodity Supplemental Food program) is a free USDA food program for clients 60+ who income qualifies.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate files and records for the Food Bank and Commodity Supplemental Food Program.
- Ensure accurate inventories and safeguards for warehouse storage.
- Complete monthly inventories and other required reports.
- Assist with food distribution at clinics.
- Ensure accurate program data entry into required systems.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Must possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License.
- Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment (outdoors, and indoors) that includes occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
Required Skills:
- Be a team player, as well as able to work independently.
- Must provide excellent customer service.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel.
- Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with the general public as well as other agency employees.
Schedule/Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week. Scheduled work hours are generally between 7:00 am-5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Due to weather conditions during summer months, start times may be before 8:00 am.
Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour.
Benefits: With benefits the wage calculates to a value of approximately $24.32. Agency benefits include: paid holidays, PTO, short term disability insurance, and Employee Assistance Program.
