Job Summary
A respected healthcare services organization in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Surgery Scheduler to join their team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented medical administrative professional with strong patient scheduling, insurance authorization, and EMR experience.
As a Surgery Scheduler, you will help coordinate appointments, procedures, follow-ups, pre-operative testing, insurance verification, and patient communication. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys supporting patients, providers, and clinical teams in a fast-paced medical environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Schedule patient appointments, surgical procedures, follow-up visits, and related services.
- Verify insurance coverage, update patient demographics, and ensure accurate registration information.
- Submit and track insurance authorizations to support timely patient care.
- Coordinate pre-operative testing, including EKGs, lab work, imaging, and related documentation as needed.
- Request medical records from referring physicians, general providers, and outside facilities.
- Assist patients with questions regarding forms, paperwork, scheduling, and general process guidance.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay range: $26.00 to $28.00 per hour.
