Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years MRI experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for an experienced MRI technologist skilled in operating Siemens MRI equipment. This role involves performing high-quality imaging, primarily supporting pediatric patients, though pediatric experience is preferred and not mandatory. The position offers a mid-shift schedule, working five 8-hour shifts from 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday, providing a consistent and manageable work-life balance. Flexible block scheduling may be considered based on individual needs.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Certified Radiologic Technologist with ARRT MR certification
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Proficiency in operating Siemens MRI scanners
- Pediatric imaging experience is a strong plus but not required
- Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate clearly with patients and staff
Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI scans with precision and adherence to safety protocols
- Prepare and position patients for imaging exams, ensuring their comfort and safety
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of procedures
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to assist in diagnosis
- Ensure MRI equipment is properly calibrated and maintained throughout shifts
