Instructional Aide Substitutes Needed | Per Diem, School-Based

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct student support in classroom settings, fostering success both academically and behaviorally
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement learning and behavior support plans
- Assist students with daily routines, classroom participation, and smooth transitions
- Provide supervision, support mobility needs, and help with personal care when necessary
- Encourage a respectful, inclusive, and safe atmosphere for all students
- Follow IEPs and behavior intervention strategies as required
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Current TB test in accordance with local requirements
- Physically able to assist with standing, walking, and lifting
- Willingness to obtain or update all required clearances before starting
Preferred Experience:
- Previous work in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
- Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
- Any background with CPI, PMT, or RBT is helpful, though not required
- Dependable, patient, and collaborative approach
