Job Description
About the Company
We are building the rails to bring Wall Street into the 21st century. Backed by leading crypto and fintech investors with $40M in funding, we are bringing together the best minds from Ethereum and Wall Street to rebuild the infrastructure that underpins the financial system — faster, safer, fully on-chain.
About the Role
Bringing the world's largest financial institutions onto a new kind of infrastructure begins with getting the details exactly right. As our Business Analyst, you'll turn how loan markets actually work into innovative products that can truly transform them — from gathering requirements and writing specs, to testing and conducting client conversations.
Key Responsibilities
- Turn ambiguity into airtight requirements: sit with clients and subject matter experts to pull messy, conflicting inputs into granular, testable requirements and clear acceptance criteria
- Own the spec: write functional design specifications at the right level of detail, ensuring documentation serves both engineering execution and durable, reusable resources
- Lead QA testing: perform comprehensive issue, feature, and integration-level testing, ensuring quality and acceptance criteria are met and product is UAT-ready
- Guard quality: stand up thorough test plans and UAT cycles, translate use cases into formal test cases, and run defect triage alongside engineering
- Design the experience: work with design to create wireframes and mockups that show engineering exactly how an interface should look and behave
- Be in the room with clients: join client calls and workshops, field and triage incoming support questions, and feed real feedback back into the product
- Make AI do the heavy lifting: drive spec, doc, and test-case generation with AI, bringing the editorial judgment and user instincts that make the output trustworthy
Requirements
- Based in or willing to relocate to New York
- ~4–5 years owning requirements through testing, whether in consulting, advisory, implementation, or in-house product
- Financial services or fintech exposure is a plus, but instinct for clarity matters most
- Strong requirements elicitation and validation skills: functional specs, use cases to test cases, UAT planning, defect triage, gap analysis, and traceability
- Fluent driving AI workflows — you use AI to produce specs, docs, and test cases, and have the editorial judgment to know when output is wrong
- Comfortable in front of sophisticated financial clients — builds rapport quickly, asks insightful questions, never loses the thread
- High ownership in ambiguity: operates with light-touch guidance, communicates clearly, thrives in fast-paced environments
- Fast learner who ramps quickly on complex, unfamiliar domains
Nice to Have
- Exposure to loan markets, credit operations, or products for major financial institutions
Benefits
- Medical, dental, and vision healthcare
- 401(k)
- Generous PTO
