We are seeking a qualified Program/Contract Manager to oversee the performance and daily operations of a federal contract. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering or business, contract management, and program execution. This role requires leadership, strategic planning, and coordination with government stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all contract-related matters
- Manage project planning, execution, and performance tracking
- Supervise analysts and consultants assigned to contract tasks
- Ensure compliance with contract terms and government regulations
- Designate and oversee Alternate Program Manager (APM) responsibilities
- Maintain availability during standard business hours, excluding federal holidays
- Coordinate with government personnel and ensure smooth contract operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and/or Business
- Minimum of 4 years of program management experience
- Expertise in:
- Requirements definition
- Contract management
- Budget and schedule control
- Personnel supervision
- Task execution and performance oversight
Special Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Highly desirable certifications and training:
- How the Army Runs (HTAR) Course
- RQM 1010 / CLR 101: Introduction to JCIDS
- RQM 1100 / RQM 110: Core Concepts for Requirements Management / CDC
- RQM 3100 / RQM 310: Advanced Concepts and Skills
- CLR 151: Analysis of Alternatives
- RQM 2500 / CLR 250: Capabilities-Based Assessments
- RQM 2520 / CLR 252: Developing Performance Attributes
Additional Information
- The Program Manager will not be assigned additional duties outside of contract management
- The Alternate Program Manager (APM) may perform PM duties only when the PM is unavailable
- APM duties are limited to a maximum of 20 workdays per fiscal year
