Billing / Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Midland, Texas
Pay: $24 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, full-time / long term
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Billing / Accounts Payable Specialist for a company in Midland, TX. This position is responsible for supporting daily accounting operations with a strong focus on billing and accounts payable functions, as well as administrative support. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, accounting experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and QuickBooks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable transactions, including entering and verifying invoices
- Prepare and send customer invoices and ensure accurate billing records
- Enter and maintain accurate financial and administrative data
- Assist with billing, documentation, and general administrative duties
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain organized accounting files and documentation
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding billing and payment inquiries
- Provide administrative and accounting support as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous billing and accounts payable experience required
- Experience with financial documentation and invoice processing
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with QuickBooks preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
