Our company is currently seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team! You will be responsible for preparing and examining financial records. This role requires a detail-oriented professional capable of handling all aspects of bookkeeping, including payroll, tax preparation, and financial statement preparation.
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Job type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday (8am-5:00pm)
Pay: $23-$30/hr.
Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and account analysis
- Prepare and record journal entries with accuracy, ensuring proper debits & credits in accordance with double-entry bookkeeping principles
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and balance sheet accounts regularly to ensure accuracy
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, Quicken, and other financial tools to maintain precise records
- Prepare financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Compute and record numerical data
- Obtain primary financial data for accounting records
- Check the accuracy of business transactions
- Perform data entry and administrative duties
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in accounting
- MUST HAVE KNOWLEDGE IN 3PL WAREHOUSE, LOGISTIC, AND TRANSPORTATION
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or Full Charge Bookkeeper with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, Quicken
- Knowledge of GAAP standards, governmental accounting, and non-profit accounting
- Strong understanding of financial concepts including double entry bookkeeping, journal entries, account reconciliation, and bank reconciliation
- Capable of performing 10 key typing efficiently for data entry tasks
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Strong organizational skills
