Job DescriptionBehavioral Healthcare Provider job in Massillon, Ohio.
What You'll Do
- Provide group treatment for youth with court orders or clinically assessed need.
- Provide individual, one-on-one therapy sessions for assigned youth on the mental health caseload.
- Provide clinical summaries and reports of youth progress or barriers to progress.
- Ensure meticulous completion of all necessary documentation.
- Collaborate closely with BHS to facilitate seamless service delivery.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's Degree
- Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) by Ohio Counselor, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy Board.Or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) by Ohio Counselor, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy Board.Or Licensed Independent Marriage and Family Therapist (IMFT) by the Ohio Counselor, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy Board.
- American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Certification
- Experience in providing group and individual therapy to adolescents. Preference for those clinicians with experience working with adolescents who are justice-system involved.
Indian River Juvenile Correctional Facility summary:The Indian River Juvenile Correctional Facility is a state-operated residential facility in Ohio for youth who have been adjudicated for delinquent or criminal behavior. It provides secure custody while focusing on rehabilitation, education, and behavioral development. The facility offers structured programs that include academic instruction, vocational training, and life skills development, as well as mental health and substance abuse counseling. Interdisciplinary teams of behavioral health professionals, educators, and case managers work with residents to develop individualized treatment plans aimed at improving social, emotional, and cognitive skills. The facility emphasizes structured routines, therapy, and positive behavior interventions to prepare youth for successful reintegration into their communities.
