Job DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team in Granada Hills, California. This contract position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and a solid understanding of financial processes. The ideal candidate will have experience managing accounts and performing reconciliations efficiently.

Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate financial records, including income, expenses, and transactions.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks with precision and timeliness.
• Manage and oversee bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
• Utilize QuickBooks software to track and manage financial data effectively.
• Prepare financial reports and summaries for internal review.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
• Monitor financial transactions to identify errors or inconsistencies.
• Assist with budget preparation and forecasting as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive financial information.• Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related financial role.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and other relevant accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Experience with bank reconciliations and financial record management.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and stakeholders.
